Gardner Publications is looking for upbeat, focused, and well-organized sales professionals to join our online advertising sales team in Nashville, Goodlettsville, White House, Gallatin, Hendersonville, and Murfreesboro.

Gardner Publications offers local advertisers a focused ad program that delivers results four to five times higher than the industry average for traditional banner ads.

Gardner Pulbications provides professional office and field training.

You must be comfortable making dozens of telephone calls daily to schedule appointments, committed to gaining new clients and working as a team member.  You must also have demonstrated experience prospecting and growing an account list, as well as closing sales.

Responsibilities:

• Actively prospecting and qualifying potential new local advertising accounts.
• Calling a furnished list of prospects.
• Handling leads for designated cities.
• Meeting revenue targets.
• Presenting our online news magazine & business directories to business owners.
• Creating and updating sales proposals

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in selling local advertising online or selling offline (yellow pages, newspaper, radio advertising), including at least one year of successful direct selling responsibility.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent.
