Chamber of Commerce honors educators
Goodlettsville Area Teachers of the Year, retiring teachers, and guests were entertained prior to the luncheon by the Madison Creek Orffestra directed of music teacher Tiffany DePriest.
During the awards ceremony, Lee Hickerson, Chairman of the Chamber’s Community Relations Committee, commended the educators for their outstanding service and concern they have for the children of Goodlettsville.
The honored teachers were presented with Certificates of Recognition and Gift Certificates donated by RiverGate Mall. Corsages for the special guests were donated by Nossi School of Art. The following teachers and principals were awarded during the appreciation luncheon:

Dr. Bill Chaney of Davidson Academy introduced the guest speaker, Bobbi Lussier with the Tennessee Department of Education, who spoke about the importance of early childhood education for the children of our state.
